Common laptop problems
- No power, no display or unstable startup.

- Overheating, loud fan or reduced performance.
- Display, keyboard, battery, SSD or memory faults.
- Liquid damage and corrosion.
- BIOS or motherboard faults.
- Screen replacement: 7,500 ISK labour, plus the cost of the display panel and any other required parts.

A motherboard fault does not always mean a new motherboard
- If the fault is on the motherboard, the cause is diagnosed before recommending replacement of the entire board.
- Component-level repair can sometimes be a more practical option, although not every device can be repaired successfully.
Pricing and approval
- Diagnostic inspection: 5,000 ISK.
- General further diagnostics or repair work: 5,000 ISK per hour.
- Motherboard repair uses the separate motherboard-repair pricing when board-level work is required.
- Parts and special materials are extra where applicable and are approved separately.
